Originally code named ‘Project Pink’ Microsoft has unveiled its new device and operating system for mobile phones derived from the Zune design. Yes, it is here. Windows 7 has made great leaps in Operating System design but will labeling the new phone OS Windows Phone 7 Series hit the same mark?
Nexus One Over-the-Air Update is here!
Last night Nexus One devices were busy downloading the Nexus One OTA update to 2.1-update 1. This new update is in hopes of fixing the bruised name of Google over the ‘Spotty 3g’ issue and ‘WebConnect’ error that causes the phone to become unprovisioned from the 3G network until a restart.

Google Nexus One available for existing T-Mobile customers
Google Nexus One is now available for current T-Mobile customers with an existing data plan as a handset upgrade of $279 instead of $379. Luckily the $100 will show up in the form of a credit via Google Checkout for those that paid the $379.
Google Nexus One’s First Week
Although the much anticipated and hyped Google Phone is out and littering Google Ad space all over the web, it’s not selling as fast as competitor devices did previously. Possibly due to complaints that have also been spread across the web pundit spectrum regarding the device’s 3G connectivity issues, poor customer support from Google or contract requirements Google has placed on the sale of the device.
Coroner: Foul Play Not Suspected in Brittany Murphy’s Death – Brittany Murphy : People.com
Brittany Murphy’s sudden death at age 32 is under investigation by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office, which will conduct an autopsy "as soon as possible," an official tells PEOPLE.
No cause of death has yet been determined, but according to coroner’s Capt. John Kades, "Foul play is not suspected at this time because there were no outward signs of trauma or other injuries."
Murphy was "found unresponsive" in her home in the hills above West Hollywood on Sunday morning, Kades said. Paramedics transported her to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead at 10:04 a.m.

Zune unfairly compared in Business Insider article
Dan Frommer of Business Insider, recently wrote an article comparing the poor adoption of the Barnes & Noble Nook reader’s to the that of the Microsoft Zune media players release in 2006. Stating:
We can’t remember a bloodier beating since Microsoft first unveiled its Zune in 2006.
He goes on to compare the nook and Zune just as we have seen before with many pundits that still believe the iPod and Zune are the same.
