The new branch office will need people to work and run the facility which will help our already ailing unemployment numbers.  Blue Bell is currently in the process of seeking Drive salesmen and startup staff to helps is move to the market.

I tried Blue Bell Ice Cream for the first time this week and I was impressed.  The creamy texture and delicious flavor left a long lasting impression with me.  So its no surprise or wonder that it is served at the local Carraba’s and Outback Steakhouse restaurants. Just make sure its something people want, I often find that a variety of people read my site and that’s what works for me.  But beware of writing about specific items when you can stick to a general topic area and be able to cover it well while shifting within the genre without going off-topic.

Blogging is not hard, it’s bloody hard. You have to write and do stuff. Coherent thought has to be followed through to a conclusion.

Here are 8 ways to make you a better blogger.

 

Improve the headline.
Make your title shout out to your audience, don’t try to call to everyone. Be specific, tailor the headline to the people who are going to be most interested in your post.
Keep it snappy.
Make it interesting. Dog bites man is not news, man bites dog is.

Learn to write.
I hate writing, but I am good at it. If you like writing and are bad at it, then you are in trouble.
If you are bad at writing acknowledge the fact and do something about it. Writing is not an art, it is a craft. It can be learned.
Writing takes thought and time. Give your words the respect they deserve and you are on your way to being read by rabid fans.

Stop with the pastel blog design.
I hate reading a blog that has a stupid pastel, soft focus, Doris Day type colour scheme that make everything soft and squidgy. Orange, green and white are not clever, they are hard to read. Check out this dude. Soft orange on a soft green pastel! Nooooooooo.

Link out to interesting stuff.
I cannot believe how stingy people are with their links. It’s as if people think all their Google juice will drain away if they link out.
No matter what are you blog in there are thousands of fantastic web pages, sites and blogs to link out to that have really interesting info for your readers to soak up.
Linking out to cool blogs make you cool.

Find your own way.
One successful blogger says short, bite size posts are the best, another says that long, in-depth analysis is the way to go.
The truth is you have to decided what your target audience wants. What’s that? You don’t have a target audience? Oh dear.

Read everything.
Focus your online time to reading material regarding your niche. Power up your rss reader and check out what the top writers in your field are writing about.
Immerse yourself in your sector. Learn everything there is to learn but leave time and energy to write your own stuff too.

Don’t publish everything you write.
The delete key gets a hammering on my keyboard. Most times I write something in a reaction to something and end up writing in the style of Animal from the Muppets, that’s of course if Animal has a writing style.
I then delete the rage fueled post and write a more considered post that is not going to cause the lawyers to descend like the vultures they are.

Follow the trends
This is the Internet and there is a new trend a month. be it blogging, social bookmarking, social networking or anything else. Don’t get caught in the trap of thinking you now know what you are doing. It will all change tomorrow.
Each time it changes there will be new opportunities to market your words and thoughts.
