URGENT CDC SWINE FLU MEETING
A new report overnight says pregnant women are in particular danger as a result of the Swine Flu.
An urgent meeting is happening at the CDC in Atlanta to figure out who’ll have first dibs on the Swine Flu vaccine when it comes out this fall.
Pregnant women, especially those in their second and third trimesters, are at the greatest risk. If you are pregnant and you have any flu symptoms don’t wait, see your doctor.

SWINE FLU KILLS PAHOKEE WOMAN
The Swine Flu has claimed the life of a Pahokee woman, Onetta Willis. She worked for the Department of Children and Families for 25 years and she was a mother of three. Her family says they’re shocked by how quickly she died after getting the flu.

DEATH TOLL RISES FOR HAITIAN MIGRANTS
The death toll continues to grow in a tragedy off the coast of Turks and Caicos. 15 Haitian migrants now confirmed dead, more than 80 are missing after their boat hit sharp coral and broke apart. The Coast Guard is searching a 1,600 square mile area. Turks and Caicos has already flown 60 survivors back to Haiti.
