SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
A severe storm warning is in effect, for the next 15 minutes until 9:15 serious rain is already coming down.
We hit the 100 degree mark yesterday. Today forecasters predict a high of 93.
 
BROWARD SCHOOL BOARD SPECIAL MEETING
This afternoon 4:15 a standing room only crowd is expected at the Broward School Board’s special meeting. The board is trying to decide if it will lay off 400 teachers.

ALLEGED CARJACKER IDENTIFIED
We’re learning the identity of the alleged carjacker shot and killed by Miami Beach police Thursday. He’s 29 year old Raymond McCoy. Police say he carjacked a cab and crashed into another vehicle on the McArthur Causeway.
