FLIGHTLINE PROTEST
Is the Miami Dade County Aviation Department discriminating against one of the ONLY black owned businesses of it’s kind in the entire country? “Flightline” based out of Opa Locka airport, fuels and services private jets. Flightline owners allege the county is trying to destroy their business to make way for a white-owned firm. The NAACP, Baptist Minister, Clergy for Change and People United to Lead the Struggle for Equality are urging you to join them this morning to protest, 10AM.

BROWARD STUDENTS AND TEACHER QUARRANTINED IN CHINA
9 Broward high school students and 1 teacher quarantined in China. They sat next to someone suspected of having swine flu. They could be held for 6 days. They were on a study trip. The Broward School District has not released the names or the name of the school they attend.

BROWARD TEACHERS SUE DISTRICT
The Broward Teacher’s Union is suing the school district on behalf of 32 teachers. The lawsuit alleges the district failed to honor contracts that would have kept those teachers employed through the coming school year.

KIDDIE PORN CYBERSTING
Authorities statewide arresting 77 people in an internet kiddie porn sting. More than 23 agencies were involved in “Operation Orange Tree”, targeting some of the worst offenders. Police say 4 registered sex offenders were among those busted and that 17 of them had a disturbing, explicit video that taught how to molest children.

MANHUNT FOR CAR WASH KILLER
The search continues for 3 men, murder and would be robbery suspects accused of killing one man and shooting at another yesterday, during an attempted robbery at Liberty City car wash at NW 27th Avenue and 71st Street.

TRIAL DATE SET FOR SEAN TAYLOR MURDER SUSPECTS
The 4 suspects accused of murdering NFL star, Sean Taylor will stand trial next year, January 18th. Police say they broke into Taylor’s Palmetto Bay home in November of 2007 and shot him when he confronted them during a burglary that went bad.
