No guarantees but any expectation of a price break just because the XBox360 was recently cut, is next to none.
Although with the introduction of the newer slimmer 45 nanometer cell processor the idea isn’t too far off. Playstation has been provided an array of modifications to the available PS3 systems available in stores and will most likely continue until the find just the right chemistry.
Some time will have to pass before the new systems are available in stores but will most likely be accompanied by a price break of some sort. Considering the cost of the components will change as Blu-ray and other technologies depreciate.
