It’s not as hard as you think to get out of those service contracts without penalty if you just read and understand contractual lingo.  Check out Ely at Crastinate who provides this easy to understand video post.

The same goes for T-mobile. Infact, I just got out of my contract with them because they raised text rates to 20 cents. Also, I get a 15% discount on Sprint, which I can pass on, so if anyone is interested in that, please email me at brianm@comanity.com and tittle the message “15% Discount”. Thanks,
B

Cellular providers charge too much for services that cost them barely anything without actually providing phenom services. You feed the cat and it just gets hungrier and keeps coming back for more.

I have MetroPCS and like not having to figure out my minutes or billing. I wish they would cover the country as the others do but they can take their time. Usually the problems people have with Metro isn’t the service it’s either the coverage, customer service (which I have found actually pretty good when I call their California based center) but it really is the cell phones they choose. Some of the phones offered are crappy so I opted for the more expensive Motorola K1m.

Thanks Brian.

That’s great you have MetroPCS.. but The motorola K1m is a piece of shit. So congrats on going with the “more expensive” yet out-dated Motorola POS.

Just saying.
